AlKifah Construction Equipment (KiCE) announces that they will be the preferred manufacturer of Schneider Electric’s Electrical Houses (E-Houses) as one of the results of AlKifah Holding and Schneider Electric Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). KiCE, which is a single business unit at AlKifah Holding, is manufacturing 15 E-Houses for Schneider Electric. KiCE is keen to meet the project’s deadline, and have already started manufacturing the E-Houses at their factory in Al-Ahsa at the beginning of March. KiCE is also hoping to contribute to the development of local skills, oil and gas technology transfer, use of local manpower and local manufacturing by adding to the local content of the kingdom and vision 2030. In addition, E-Houses are the optimal supply solution, offering power and equipment in one compressed module. Based on the MoU between AlKifah Holding and Schneider Electric, KiCE signed a contract during the Future Projects Forum (FPF) to manufacture 15 E-Houses for Schneider Electric. Precisely, FPF is a forum that was held on 26-27th of February, 2019, in Riyadh under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz where multiple agreements and contracts were signed by different companies. When it comes to E-houses, they offer perfect solutions for power and control equipment in one compact module. E-Houses integrate services from engineering to commissioning and assimilate electrical and mechanical expertise. By saving both space and energy, the tested and validated E-House is the perfect compact power solution. Most importantly, Schneider Electric customizes its E-Houses according to the client’s needs. To conclude, after delivering the E-houses, Schneider Electric is said to be providing it to Aramoc’s Murjan projects. In a brief interaction with the COO of AlKifah Holding, Eng. Saleh AlKatheer said: “AlKifah is eager and optimistic to contribute to the oil and gas industry and the best is yet to come.” Aside from the manufacturing of E-Houses, KiCE is also working on diversifying the scope of their work by integrating many different projects from the oil and gas industry. KiCE believes that the E-housing project is the start of potential projects and opportunities around the kingdom. The E-Houses are said to be delivered to Schneider Electric within the next few months.
